The industry I'm interested in is: Radio
One of my weaknesses is related to public speaking and pitching ideas in front of an audience, this is a very important part of my future job role so I need to work on my confidence of talking in front of people and gain more self confidence to take on the role of a leader. Another weakness of mine is that I don't drive and have to rely on public transport which would hinder my chance of getting a job if it's not near by. As well as not having perfect presenting skills, there are a few words that I can't pronounce correctly so to work on that issue I will get some elocution lessons in order to become even better at public speaking and gain more confidence.
Contingency plan
If I don't get accepted into any of my universities, then I will approach a radio station for an apprenticeship or approach any media related company for a job role such as an editor for a magazine or a social media controller for fashion companies. Another contingency plan is that if after university, I can't find a job or other related reasons- I will do a teaching course and become a media teacher for sixth forms or a radio lecturer in university.
